Cheri Burchard

Cheri Burchard is a widely traveled artist and interior designer. She is a
graduate of National Cathedral School, Sweet Briar College, The Washington
College of Law, and the International Institute for Interior Design. She has
also studied at the Louvre, The School of Fine Arts in Mexico City, and The Cape
Cod School of Art. Her work is on display in many areas of the country. Cheri is
a post-impressionist colorist. Her use of high-keyed color is her response to
the inner life of her subject. She often prays before she paints in order to
capture the subject’s archetype and beauty.
